CELTIC FANS are tonight looking for answers of the club and Police Scotland after a dangerous situation arose in the North Stand turnstiles.

Fans reported the turnstiles being closes in the underpass causing a massive crush of people all in the one area. It got that bad some Celtic fans headed for higher ground in order to escape the swell of people on the ground.

This is a modern-day stadium where it’s easy to get fans in the gates and into their seats and stuff like this should not be happening.

The club has launched an investigation into what has gone seriously wrong here.

This, quite simply cannot happen again. There were people in the crowd genuinely worried for their safety.

With Celtic hosting so many big games, it’s unfathomable how security and the club can get something so wrong in what should have been a pleasant and very easy way to enter the ground.
